Power Conference 2025 summary

That’s another wrap on conference speaking – [Power Conference](https://www.linkedin.com/company/prague-power-conference/) 2025. That’s the last one for me this year… and next year I’m starting with [Cloud Tech Tallinn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/cloudtechtallinn/) with material on 5 ways to do Power BI & Fabric Writebacks. This time, I conducted a session for 60-80 attendants on Animations for Canvas Apps, where I highlighted multiple snippets and explained approaches to enable smooth animations. Among other things, I demoed great work by [Anas Fadzli](https://www.linkedin.com/in/anasfadzli/) (PowerSnippet website) and [Leonardo Russo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/leonardorrusso/) & [Rudimar Baesso Althof](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rudimar/) ([Power Apps Tools](https://www.linkedin.com/company/powerappstools/) website). Participants finished the session with some reference materials, including a solution with more than 20 snippets for them to start their animation adventure! In the keynote session, [Evan Lew](https://www.linkedin.com/in/evanlew/) and [Austin Laugesen](https://www.linkedin.com/in/austin-laugesen-a5280719/) presented three live demos showcasing the future of Power Platform, including agenting, coding, and vibing. They also had a 1-hour live Q&A block packed with insights about what’s coming and how the [Microsoft](https://www.linkedin.com/company/microsoft/) organization has changed internally. I’ve learned by accident that there was an official announcement for modern controls going GA in FEB 2026 – fingers crossed for the [Leon](https://www.linkedin.com/in/lwelicki/) Canvas Apps team to deliver! Thanks to [DataBrothers](https://www.linkedin.com/company/databrothers/) for great organizations – you were great guys, [Jiri Starostik](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jiri-starostik/), [Štěpán Rešl](https://www.linkedin.com/in/stepan-resl/), [Bára Loučímová](https://www.linkedin.com/in/b%C3%A1ra-lou%C4%8D%C3%ADmov%C3%A1-488881184/). A huge thank you to [Clouds On Mars](https://www.linkedin.com/company/clouds-on-mars/) for supporting my development as a public speaker in Power Platform Communities. Personal highlights for me: - Talking with [Austin](https://www.linkedin.com/in/austin-laugesen-a5280719/) about Code Apps, which will be a great competitor by [Microsoft](https://www.linkedin.com/company/microsoft/) for platforms such as [Lovable](https://www.linkedin.com/company/lovable-dev/) or Convex (another managed and fully integrated platform for hosting of web apps inside the Power Platform ecosystem) - Seeing for the first time [Lukas Pavelka](https://www.linkedin.com/in/lukas-lp-pavelka/) DesignKit Power Apps for Figma plugin – it’s a really great tool to enhance UI prototyping on existing canvas apps or building design documents! - TOTALLY AWESOME session from [Konica Minolta IT Solutions Czech](https://www.linkedin.com/company/kmitscz/) by [Jan Renč](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jan-ren%C4%8D-5b161038/) and [Simon Dedek](https://www.linkedin.com/in/simondedek/) on their data integration workflow in Power Automate, applying data enhancements via liquid templates, and integrating multiple data sources for car dealerships. That's the first time I've seen single flow in production executing 200,000 times per day! Crazy stuff! - Admiring [Injae Park](https://www.linkedin.com/in/injae-park/)'s creative work on SVG visualizations for Power BI. It’s truly remarkable to see 40 different visualizations on a single screen, each one customizing the same data into beautiful, distinct charts that are partially the same but at the same time totally different. I had plenty of great talks, among others with [Austin Laugesen](https://www.linkedin.com/in/austin-laugesen-a5280719/), [Tomas Prokop](https://www.linkedin.com/in/prokoptomas/), [Nikola Ilic](https://www.linkedin.com/in/nikola-ilic-data-mozart/), [Sara Lagerquist](https://www.linkedin.com/in/saralagerquist/), [Nilufer Dogan](https://www.linkedin.com/in/nil%C3%BCfer-do%C4%9Fan/), [Injae Park](https://www.linkedin.com/in/injae-park/), [Eickhel Mendoza](https://www.linkedin.com/in/eickhel/), [Paul Murana](https://www.linkedin.com/in/pmurana/), [Mathias Halkjær Petersen](https://www.linkedin.com/in/mhalkjaer/), [Katerina Chernevskaya](https://www.linkedin.com/in/katerinachernevskaya/), [Lukas Pavelka](https://www.linkedin.com/in/lukas-lp-pavelka/), and many others. It was great meeting you all!
