Cookie Chlebek Manage Your Cookie Preferences

Who operates this blog

Jan Chlebek operates this personal Power Platform blog. For privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete your information, use the contact links on the About page. Include enough context to identify your request, but do not send passwords.

Reading and essential storage

You can read the blog without accepting analytics. Your analytics preference is saved in your browser’s local storage until you change it or clear site data. The browser may cache site files for faster loading. Administrator sign-in uses a locally stored access token; readers do not need an account.

Requests reach the hosting and network services with connection information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser information. These services may keep operational and security logs. Avoid entering sensitive information into search because the search text appears in the page URL and may appear in hosting logs.

Optional analytics

After you accept analytics, the blog can load Google Analytics to measure page visits, categories, submitted searches, article reading milestones and newsletter request outcomes. Article reads are counted after five continuous seconds in a visible tab; a separate milestone records thirty seconds. These measures do not prove that an article was read in full.

The events sent by this application contain article identifiers and coarse search-length ranges, not the words you searched for, your newsletter email, your name or selected newsletter topics. Google Analytics may use cookies and process device, browser and network information. This is not a promise that all information is anonymous. See Google’s privacy policy.

You can decline or withdraw analytics using the controls above. This stops future application analytics and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already received by a provider. Newsletter subscription and analytics consent are separate choices.

Newsletter

When you subscribe, your email address, optional first name and selected topic identifiers are sent through the blog’s server to Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to manage subscriptions and deliver email. Kit holds the subscriber record; this application does not maintain a separate subscriber table. A successful request is not evidence of email confirmation. Follow any confirmation instructions sent to your inbox.

Use the unsubscribe link in an email to stop the newsletter. Unsubscribing does not necessarily delete all provider records; contact me if you want to request erasure. Kit may process delivery and email interaction information according to its configuration. See Kit’s privacy policy.

Article reactions

When you like an article, the blog stores its identifier, a timestamp and the network address reported to the application. It uses that address to show whether you have liked the article. People sharing a network may share a reaction identity. Removing your like deletes the matching reaction record; the current application has no automatic expiry for remaining reaction records.

Retention and service providers

Analytics, newsletter and hosting log retention depend on the settings of the accounts that operate this site. Their retention periods are being verified; this policy does not claim a fixed twenty-six-month period or automatic anonymization. Contact me for the current settings and for requests concerning existing records. Service providers may process information outside your country under their applicable terms and safeguards.

Links to LinkedIn, Microsoft and other sites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This blog’s analytics preference does not control those sites.
